The launching of my wife’s book

Seeing Cinderella CoverI wanted to share some really exciting family news today. My wife’s first book, Seeing Cinderella, will be hitting the shelves in just a few weeks. She wrote a young reader novel about a 7th grade girl who discovers magic glasses that can read people’s thoughts. It’s such a fun read.

We are having a book launch party at Barnes & Noble in Citrus Heights and you are invited to come celebrate with us. If you’re not doing anything on March 31, 2012 from 1-3pm, come on by to hang out for a couple hours and get a book signed if you wish. Barnes & Noble is located at 6111 Sunrise Blvd in Citrus Heights.

This is really exciting family news that we’ve been anticipating for quite a while as my wife signed a contract for this book well over a year ago. Her second book is also in contract with Aladdin Mix (an imprint of Simon & Schuster) and that’ll get published in the Spring of 2013. It’s no small task to write a book, and it’s a huge accomplishment to get published. I’m very proud of my wife Jenny and I wanted to share the joy with you.

You can check out my wife’s website, Facebook page or her book on Amazon. Thanks for sharing in the great news with me!!

Congrats! That’s really awesome. It’s not easy getting a book published, many kudo’s.

Ryan, Now I don’t have to guess where you get your blog writing skills from. 🙂

    Have an AWESOME weekend!

Do you think the book will be available locally where I live Ryan, or would I need to order it? My daughter is in the 5th grade and I think she would enjoy it.

That’s so cool, Tom. Thank you so much!! I know the book will be on shelves at Barnes & Noble, but I don’t know if that means every store in the US or not. It seems physical bookstores are becoming a thing of the past too, which complicates things. Borders went under I believe. I see the book online at Amazon, Walmart, Target & Barnes & Noble to name a few. If anyone sees the book in your city, let me know. Thanks again, Tom. Too cool.

How exciting! Congrats! And what fun, a book signing at Barnes & Noble. I added the book to my Amazon Wish List and am going to order it the next time I place an order at Amazon.
