Can I get a drumroll please? I wanted to share some exciting non-real estate news for the Lundquist household this week. My wife Jenny’s third book hit the shelves on Tuesday!! It is a young adult fantasy novel called The Princess in the Opal Mask. Jenny is immensely talented and she works so very hard too. Would you join me in congratulating her? Also, if you’re local, I would love for you to come out to Barnes & Noble in Citrus Heights this Saturday October 26, 2013 to celebrate with us. We’ll be mingling and Jenny will be signing books from 1-3pm. We’re also doing a mask contest, so bring a masquerade style mask if you want (totally optional). You can get a book signed if you wish, but no pressure at all.
Here are a few pics to enjoy. I snapped the one on the top left on Tuesday at the bookstore. The others are mostly from a recent book trade show in San Francisco.
Thanks for letting me share this great news. I am extremely proud of my wife. I am constantly impressed with the way her creativity expresses itself and how she has followed her dream to write. The truth is dreams don’t get fulfilled by accident. They simply cannot come true without intention and tenacity, and Jenny is a perfect example of that. It is no small task to write a book – and definitely not easy to get traditionally published either. Congratulations Jenny!!
You can check out Jenny’s website or Amazon for more information about the book.
