I am so proud to announce that my wife has signed a deal to have her book Seeing Cinderella published by Aladdin M!X. I just wanted to share this great news with you because this is a huge cause for celebration in the Lundquist household right now. Gary Vaynerchuk talks about “crushing it” and living out your passion. Well, my wife is a good example of that, and I am inspired. In her own words:
For the last five years I’ve been writing fiction whenever I could squeeze the time in—before the kids woke up, nap time, while I was waiting for the chicken to roast, when I should have been cleaning the house (which, sadly, gives you a pretty good idea of my housecleaning abilities). I am happy to announce that I have accepted an offer from Aladdin M!X (an imprint of Simon and Schuster) to publish my middle grade novel, Seeing Cinderella, in the spring of 2012.
Check out my wife’s website if you wish at www.JennyLundquist.com. Thanks for celebrating with us.

Congratulations! That is so exciting!

Thanks, Bryan. The publishing process is such a long ordeal. It’s been interesting to watch how it all unfolds. I’m just glad that the cat is now out of the bag and we can move forward to share the good news with friends. I can’t wait to see my wife sign books and do all those author-type things. And of course, she’s working on a new book now too. Good times.

I bet the publishing process is interesting, especially now with so many ebooks and different formats. Be sure to let me know when her nationwide tour is going on and if she makes a stop in Atlanta so I can get her to sign a copy for me. That is really fantastic she is living out her passion.
Ryan Lundquist says
We were actually hoping we might kick off the US tour at your wife’s photo studio in Atlanta. Maybe you can check in with her to see if that might work out. We’d settle for your appraisal office too, Bryan. We’ll be open and play by ear. 🙂
Thanks.
